H10 / DIN 1.12365 / AISI H10 Steel Grade

H10 steel (1.2365) is a hot work tool steel known for its excellent toughness, resistance to thermal fatigue, and ability to withstand high temperatures. Hot work, chromium-molybdenum type tool steel that exhibits excellent resistance to softening at elevated tempertaure. In addition to its superior anti-tempering softening resistance, this premium hot work tool steel produced by Toolman has outstanding thermal fatigue resistance and can be water cooled during the use.. It is commonly used in applications requiring significant impact and heat resistance, making it ideal for hot forging, extrusion, and die-casting applications.

Properties
  • High toughness

  • Extreme high temperature strength

  • High temperature creep resistance

  • High temperature softening resistance

  • Fine crystallisation

  • Uniform spheroidizing microstructure

  • Good cleanliness

  • Tungsten-free special hot work tool steel on a CrMoV base with good toughness. Insensitive to thermal shock, and thus not susceptible to heat cracking. Particularly suitable for water cooling.
