Our founder D.K. DHINGRA started this company with a focus as a trading division of high speed steel cutting tools and trading of tool steels and special steels in the name of DHINGRA ENTERPRISES

Introduced tool steel from Poldi for the Indian market by importing hot work steel, cold work steel and high speed steels and continued enjoying the journey that lasted 20 years.

Became sole distributors of Villares Metal for hot and cold work steel and high speed steel grades.

Started own manufacturing and forging unit by installing three pneumatic forging hammers of Beche make of 500 kg , 750 kg 1 MT capacity.

Installed induction melting furnace of 1 MT capacity, one small rolling mill, annealing furnaces, bandsaw cutting machines, straightening and finishing line for producing tool steel grades like D3, D2 1.2601, D2 1.2379 , O1, A8M chipper knife steel , PGK, S1 , H11, H13 flats.

– Started importing clean tool steel scraps of various grades from US, Singapore, Japan and European markets.

Started exporting to US, Europe, Japan, Singapore and far east markets

Acquired adjoining land bank with a vision of becoming country’s largest integrated tool steel manufacturing plant

Expanded capacity by installing 1.5 MT melting furnace, a new rolling mill for producing rounds, squares and wider flats upto 155mm width along with electric annealing furnaces and a modern cutting, straightening and finishing line.

Installed two new pneumatic hammers of 750 Kg and 1 MT capacity to expand forging capacity.

Installed two ESR facilities to cater to demand for clean H13 flats and round products

Installed modern finishing line which includes WMW Hacket four headed plano-miller to enhance capacity to produce machined flats along with modern lathe machines to produce machined rounds in various grades, bar peeling and centre less grinding units for producing peeled, turned and CG bright bars.

Signed All India exclusive distributorship with Heye Special Steel Co. in joint venture with Sumitomo Japan which is a fortune 500 corporation to promote ESR High Speed Steel grades in the Indian market.

Opened an office in New York to manage growing operations in US market for procurement of raw material and sales of finish tool steel products.

Started new forging facility by installing an open die hydraulic forging press of 1250 MT capacity , a new electric melting furnace -8 MT along with new ESR , latest electrical annealing furnaces and robust manipulator to establish a state of the art Forging plant which is also the highest tool steel producing plant including hot -work, cold- work and high speed steel by volume.

Installed modern heat – treatment facility for 2714 grade and P20 (plastic mould) and a bigger ESR unit of 5 MT capacity for surging demand for clean H13 for extrusion and pressure die casting applications and for HSS bigger rounds.

Took initiatives for acquiring technical know -how from top plants of the world , joint venture materialization plan and set a vision to bring the company on world map
