O1 / DIN 1.2510 / AISI O1 Steel Grade

Toolman Special Steels is proud to produce and offer O1 (1.2510) - This alloy is one of the cold work, oil hardening type tool steels. It is relatively inexpensive containing small amounts of manganese, tungsten and chromium. Thanks to its tungsten and higher chromium content, the O1 tool steel has good wear resistance and polishing performance. O1 has good durability, wear resistance, and fine grain size. After heat treatment, it has very small dimensional variation. It is suitable for measurement tools and drills.
